Who run the fashion world? Beyonce! Versace custom-designs stage costumes for European leg of the pop star's world tour

Beyonce has chosen to wear custom designs by Versace on the latest leg of her Mrs Carter World Tour.

The 32-year-old pop star is to don corsets, boots, and dresses by the Italian fashion house for the remainder of her show, which is now travelling throughout Europe and the UK.

Beyonce debuted her Versace looks at a Glasgow, Scotland show, representing a revamp of her tour to include songs from the singer’s new self-titled album.

The Italian label’s custom designs take inspiration from some of the record’s more popular songs.

One of the most embellished pieces is a chainmail jacket that says ‘Bow Down’ on the back in reference to a lyric from Beyonce’s new song ‘Flawless.’

Other pieces include sequined over-the knee boots, and a matching strapless minidress, as well as a see-through mesh dress.

Versace posted sketches of the tour’s uniform to its Facebook page yesterday, providing a detailed look at how the designs came to be.

Her tour has grossed $188.6 million in box office sales thus far.
