Who run the fashion world? Beyonce! Versace custom-designs stage costumes for European leg of the pop star's world tour

Neon Fix

Beyonce has chosen to wear custom designs by Versace on the latest leg of her Mrs Carter World Tour.

The 32-year-old pop star is to don corsets, boots, and dresses by the Italian fashion house for the remainder of her show, which is now travelling throughout Europe and the UK.

Beyonce debuted her Versace looks at a Glasgow, Scotland show, representing a revamp of her tour to include songs from the singer’s new self-titled album.

Sequin mesh: This long design is also a custom Versace creation, which will be worn on the remainder of her tour, ending March 27

The Italian label’s custom designs take inspiration from some of the record’s more popular songs.

One of the most embellished pieces is a chainmail jacket that says ‘Bow Down’ on the back in reference to a lyric from Beyonce’s new song ‘Flawless.’

Other pieces include sequined over-the knee boots, and a matching strapless minidress, as well as a see-through mesh dress.

Versace posted sketches of the tour’s uniform to its Facebook page yesterday, providing a detailed look at how the designs came to be.

The Mrs Carter Tour kicked off on April 15, 2013 and is scheduled to run until March 27 of this year.

So far, Beyonce has worn designs by labels including Givenchy, Dsaquared2, and Pucci while on the road.

Her tour has grossed $188.6 million in box office sales thus far.

By Your Sleeve. Bomber $349. Vitamin. Tee Top $149. not seen (Walk of the Devil Pant $299.) All from Cooper by Trelise.

Sports Luxe is all about attitude - and of course clothes, but you definitely need your swag dialled up to carry it off. Think about pairing classic sportswear pieces with luxurious textiles.

Trelise Cooper always finds the perfect balance blending textiles and this look from her diffusion label Cooper by Trelise hits all the right notes.

Local leather label Hideseekers' All Or Nothing Overalls are super chic and absolutely to die for, or if you're game you could try these perforated leather-like shorts from Boohoo. I have just bought these fabulous Zoe Karssen Tuxedo Stripe Sweat Pants from Superette. I can't wait to rock out in them with a super-fresh trainer or a killer heel.

World's Fools Gold Top with its pleated contrast leatherette sleeve is girly yet staunch at the same time. Gorman's Think Positive Dress keeps it sporty and fun; and the cut of this adidas by Stella McCartney Hoodie is ultra feminine, easily transitioning from exercise wear to a fashion moment.

Check The Line Up for my favourite Bomber Jackets, with selections from Ruby, Gorman and Juliette Hogan.

Complete your look with metallic highlights - New Balance has teamed with Juliette Hogan to release a limited-edition sneaker, arriving in store next month and available in two colour ways. Be in quick as only 96 pairs are available. Saben's Mineral Metallics collection was launched recently with pebbled metallic leather colours partnered with pale gold hardware. I am loving Mardle's Armour Collar, a handcrafted piece of beaten copper created in collaboration with Wellington artist Sam Keer. Keep it photo-shoot fresh.

Style Writer Argues That We Should Pay More Attention to Hillary Clinton's Style

Neon Fix

Vanessa Friedman of the New York Times put on her contrarian Louboutins Tuesday morning and decided to pen a defense of focusing on the fashion choices of female leaders.

When you think about it, who better, really, to use as role models than women like Hillary Rodham Clinton and Julia Gillard and Kirsten Gillibrand? And while their lessons are primarily professional, there is no reason they should not be extended to appearance, too — especially when it comes to appearance in the workplace, or the public space. After all, whether or not we like it or want to admit it, appearance matters.

Lest you find your eyebrow creeping up unattractively, Friedman assures you that male leaders are subject to all sorts of fashion interrogation. "Bill Clinton, as you may remember, famously answered the boxers-versus-briefs question on MTV without blinking," she says, mentioning an incident that happened 20 years ago and, in fact, did fluster the president, as you can see here. "President Obama discussed his suit choices with Michael Lewis in a profile in Vanity Fair," she adds, bringing the examples up to a sum total of two.

If female leaders' clothing choices were covered in the same way men's clothing choices are, which is to say, sparingly, I don't think too many people would object. In the real world, however, women's clothing is described more frequently and in more detail, and, to make it worse, women's clothing choices are weighted with more meaning. The reason that Clinton jokes that she should have titled her book "The Scrunchie Chronicles: 112 Countries and It's Still All about My Hair" is not because someone mentioned her scrunchie once in passing. It's because Googling "hillary clinton scrunchie" brings back 13,900 hits (yes, some of them for posts like this, so knock off a few hundred).

Friedman argues that more attention must be paid to female leaders' clothes because we live in a world "where pictures are beamed round the Internet, and judgments made, long before position papers are read" and because these women specifically "have been widely photographed and have had almost every wardrobe choice recorded." But isn't that really an argument against dwelling on the subject at length? For anyone looking to learn a thing or two about fashion from Hillary Clinton, studying this volume of photographs of her would probably suffice. We don't need another reminder that Clinton favors pantsuits in coverage ostensibly devoted to politics.

Rihanna's C-Thru Best Dressed At 2014 CDFA Awards

Neon Fix

SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN FOR MORE PICTURES OF RIHANNA!

RIHANNA! After she hit the red carpet I’m pretty sure a lot of the men where like, “OK and we can go home now”, because Rihanna was definitely the end all, be all for the 2014 CDFA Awards. This Adam Selman gown and matching head wrap is covered in over 200,000 #SwarovskiCrystals #GAGGGGGING

On Monday, the 2014 CDFA Awards took place and when it comes to the red carpet, Rihanna was definitely the talk of the town. With see through sequin dress that displayed her boobs and her nude colored thong that definitely showed that Rihanna may be all legs, but her booty sits just right. At first glimpse, you would think Rihanna was completely naked, but she didn’t completely bare all to the world.

The CDFA is definitely an event you don’t expect anyone to dress down for and where many fashion, movie and model A List celebrities come out and are dressed to perfection. Such as Shoedazzle queen, Rachel Zoe, who took the cake when it comes to looking beautiful as she wore on of her own creations. Plus Solange who looked amazing in shimmering pewter channeling Donna Summer; with her big wavy hair. This was Solo’s first red carpet appearance since her Jay-Z Spaz out, however, she owned the moment in a sparkly silver Calvin Klein gown, silver clutch and a pink lip.

But even still at the CDFA, not everyone came with their best as even though WhyCauseICan.com loves her and CAN’T WAIT to see her in the new Star Wars, Lupita Nyong’o should have chose something else to wear for the event. Even though it very creative and authentic, it’s just not something we are liking as much as her blue dress at the Oscars.

But checkout more pictures from the CDFA’s Red Carpet below, PLUS a few LOVED photos of Rihanna (that we specifically put at the end) courtesy of JustJared.com.
